April Meeting

Thursday, April 19, 2012

Join us at 6:00pm for dinner!

Smithfield's Chicken 'N BAR-B-Q
7304 Knightdale Boulevard
Knightdale, NC

Our speaker will be Dan Forest, candidate for Lt. Gov.  We have been fortunate to have so many candidates at our meetings this past year, and I hope this has been a help to you in making your voting choices. ANOTHER REMINDER -  Our club is helping sponsor a Candidate Forum on Monday, April 23rd, at the Rolesville Community Center, starting at 7 P.M. Five candidates are participating:  Duane Cutlip and Chris Malone, candidates for N.C. House Dist. 35; and Chad Barefoot, Michael Schriver, and Glen Bradley, candidates for N.C. Senate Dist. 18.  Please invite a friend to join you for an interesting evening.  Cutlip, Barefoot and Schriver are all members of East Wake Republican Club. Primary voting day, May 8th, is fast approaching.  If you are like most people, you are not familiar with all the choices on your ballot.  You may see a copy of your ballot at the Wake County Board of Elections website.  If you need information about any of the candidates, in addition to their own websites, you may want to visit the Wake Republican headquarters at 809 Spring Forest Rd. in Raleigh, or call 919 326-3776.  Early voting has already started and you may get info on times and places from the Wake Bd. of Elections website.  In any case, do not let ANYTHING keep you from casting your vote. Rachel Pair, President.
